
CASE STUDY – Smart Period
Smart Period is a fictitious product whose development and creation began with the problem of tests to detect the human papilloma virus (HPV), which causes uterus cancer. The visit to the gynecologist is not pleasant. The menstrual period contains information about woman’s body and cells. Why not take advantage of the bleeding of the period to get an HPV test? As part of Miami Ad School, Smart Period born with the project called “Natural Test” that allows to identify the HPV through the use of sanitary pads during menstruation. This product will be really neccesary, but for competition purposes we took what actually can be tested with the period, like vitamins, cholesterol levels, lack of proteins that are important for tracking woman’s health.
