Revolt of the gadgets

Robot vacuum cleaners, voice assistants and a whole host of other appliances, devices and software know too well that most of us don’t do enough physical activity. And that’s despite the World Health Organization’s advice that just 21 minutes a day are enough to help prevent serious health problems such as diabetes and heart attacks. To raise awareness of the issue of physical inactivity, AOK launches a campaign spanning a range of media. At its core is a TV commercial featuring gadgets that refuse to do as they’re told and instead try to get the ad’s protagonists moving. The campaign song was also promoted on music streaming platforms and TikTok.
